Pulp Live Productions brought two top international heavy metal headliners to the Philippines: Lamb of God and Testament. The modern-day woodstock’s popularity has brought in requests from rock bands in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Canada that have offered to fly in on their own expense to perform at the summer slam.

It was a sold-out affair (more than 30,000 tickets sold), according to the organizers. Security was tight. Ballpoint pens, belt buckles, lighters and cigarettes, bottled perfumes and colognes were confiscated at the gate.
